Yves Vandichel, better known as DJ Yves, was born in Antwerpen, Belgium in 1970. Yves have been around for a very long time in the hard dance scene. With already 29(!) years of DJ’ing, Yves is a true veteran behind the decks. In those years he took the chance to play across the world at the biggest stages our hard dance scene delivers. Events like Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Decibel Outdoor, Defqon 1, Pussylounge & Thunderdome, just to name a few. After all those years of doing what he loves the most he mastered the profession of an undeniable party starter. With a huge collection of tracks and the knowledge to hit the right track at the right moment, Yves can turn any party into an unforgettable memory.

The foundation of his success lays way back in history. DJ Yves started to make a real name back in the days (1993) at the legendary club called Club-X in Wuustwezel, Belgium. Every weekend DJ Yves stood in the spotlights at Club-X as resident hardcore DJ. He even took it to the next level as he collaborated with Richard van Dongen under the hardcore alias ‘Club-X’. Together they produced a well-known track with videoclip, called ‘The Sequel’, which hit the Dutch & Belgium top charts. After its success at Club-X, Yves left the place as resident and continued his way as successful DJ. In the years after he became resident DJ at leading clubs like: Cherrymoon Hardcore Universe, Qu, Kozmoz, Zino and Reloaded.

Next to performing, DJ Yves didn’t sit still music-wise as he was running his own record label at that time (Dj Yves Records). In this timespan Yves even produced music together with Tijs Verwest aka Dj Tiésto, Da boy Tommy, Da Rick, Human Resource and Solid Solution. In the end he released more than 50 vinyl and cd’s on Bonzai Records, Dj Yves Records and XSV music. Some of them even made it into the Dutch & Belgium top charts. Although Dj Yves Records doesn’t exist anymore, Yves is now the proud owner of ‘Label-X’.

Now in 2019, DJ Yves is stronger than ever and spins the decks weekly somewhere in The Netherlands or Belgium. In addition, DJ Yves is kicking off 2019 with a fresh release which definitely suits his way of life. ‘Forever Young’ by Franky Dux & Dj Yves sets the tone with a matching videoclip. There’s absolutely nothing that can hold back this veteran artist. The love for spinning music and hyping the crowd lays deep into his core values. DJ Yves is ready to open up a new chapter and conquer more stages in 2019.
