From the USA to Malaysia, Singapore to Russia, Taiwan to Europe, and every stop in between, Kidd continuously travels all corners of the world delivering his distinct brand of harder edged beats. As a regular performer on the biggest lineups in electronic music, his jaw-dropping talent has taken him to the dizzy heights of Electric Daisy Carnival In Las Vegas as well as the world-renowned Tomorrowland festival in Belgium. Other 2016 highlights include his show stealing appearance at Q-dance’s Defqon.1, trips to Japan’s Music Circus in Osaka and Tokyo’s infamous Ageha Club, HARD with STYLE at the legendary Melkweg in Amsterdam, multiple tours across Australia, headlining the Goodgreef stage at Creamfields in the UK, and hosting his annual beach festival Kiddstock. When genres collide and rules are broken, Alex Kidd becomes alive in the studio and knows no boundaries. 2016 has seen his relentless production schedule gain momentum. His latest tracks have been a firm fixture in the Beatport charts, receiving regular support in the sets of a broad range of artists such as The Prophet, DJ Snake, Zany, LNY TNZ, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Sander Van Doorn, Morgan Page, Boaz Van De Beats, Lowriderz, Kutski, Dr Phunk, Gammer, Skellism, Outsiders, Potato and more.
His releases on HARD with STYLE label (Calling & Bitches) took home the Beatport Number #1 spot during the week of release. It wasn’t long after until Kidd joined forces with the legendary Dr. Rude to create their smash hit release “Coming Your Way” also released on HWS and crashing in to the Beatport Top 10.
A further collaboration with future Trap prodigy Pyrodox saw their single “Don’t You Worry” released on the almighty Dirty Workz new sub-label Wolf Clan and has already surpassed 75,000 views on YouTube with the official music video and 140.000 Spotify plays. Other recent studio highlights include co-production and writing credits on a recent Carnage release, a genre defying collaboration with Audio Bully’s on Sander van Doorn’s ‘Doorn’ imprint (Spinnin’ Records, 288.000 Youtube views, 275.000 Spotify plays), a release with Dutch favorite’s Dirtcaps on Armada sub-label Klash, as well as numerous projects in the pipe-line alongside a whole host of artists and labels.
His early 2017 freestyle collaborations with Potato, Outsiders, Playboyz & Bass D have catapulted The Kidd on the festival stages all over Netherlands this summer, with appearances confirmed at Full Moon, Dance Valley, Ground Zero, Daydreams, Hard Classics on the Beach and Intensss amongst others.
In addition to all this, Alex Kidd still finds time to be the mastermind behind the UK’s biggest hard dance festival, Kiddstock, now in its 10th year and ready to celebrate with the biggest edition so far in their history.
